A partner visit combines the skills and interests of our people with the needs and interests of the people of Magoro. For example, if you know how to knit, teach others; if you love soccer, play with the kids; if you're an optometrist, offer an eye clinic; if you're a teacher, offer a workshop... The possibilities are endless!

We have all been given gifts, skills, and talents that God can use to bless the people of Magoro!

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

We will stay in a hotel with air conditioning, running water, and private western bathrooms. HopeChest is very intentional to arrange food and bottled water that is safe for us to consume.

Cost:

• (without airfare) for 9+ travelers is $1598/person including a safari and boat ride on the Nile River.
• (without airfare) for 5-8 travelers is $1887/person including a safari and boat ride on the Nile River.
• Airline tickets will run $1300 - $1800/person
• Later registrations may incur higher airfare costs.

Depending on number of travelers and airline costs, the estimated cost $3000-$3500 per person for the 9 night/10 day trip to Africa. This includes lodging, meals in country, transportation, programming, safari, and Nile River boat ride.

Here is a sample schedule to give you an idea of what the trip may look like:

• Tuesday - Wednesday: travel to Entebbe, Uganda
• Thursday: drive to Soroti, Uganda
• Friday: visit community leaders/school/Community (Planned by HopeChest Uganda Team)
• Saturday: serve in the community and Care Point (Planned by us)
• Sunday: serve in the community and Care Point (Planned by us)
• Monday: Community Celebration (Planned by HopeChest Uganda Team) & travel Murchison Falls National Park
• Tuesday: Safari
• Wednesday: Nile River boat ride & travel to Entebbe
• Thursday: return flight
